INTERNAL CALLS
To reach anyone on the State PBX system with the (902) prefix you can dial 2-xxxx, (407) dial 7-xxxx.

LOCAL CALLS
Other local calls are made by dialing 9 plus the 10 digit public number.

LONG DISTANCE CALLS
Most calls can be dialed direct by dialing 9 + the 10 digit number you are calling. If you get a long tone after dialing you will need to enter your SLD or SCAN number while the tone is going.

VOICE MAIL
Voice mail messages are accessed by the per-program button on your phone or by dialing 7-1111. Your message waiting lamp will light if you have a message waiting for you.

Note: Voice mail can be accessed from outside the State phone system by dialing 407-1111

The following instructions are highlights of the features for your telephone.
These are the most common features you will be using on a regular basis.

HOLD
To put a call on hold, press the HOLD button. To retrieve the call, press the call appearance (extension number where the call is fluttering).

TRANSFER
To transfer a call to another extension, press Transfer button, dial the extension number, then press Transfer again. Your call is now transferred.

CONFERENCE
To initiate a conference call with other, press CONF button + the extension number, (if an outside number is to be used dial 9, xxx-xxxx) then CONF again. You will all (up to five other telephones) be on the call until you hang up.

 

The following features are accessed either with an identifying button or by dialing a number sequence. Instructions for both are included.

CALL FORWARDING
To forward incoming calls to another number dial *00 9 plus the number where the calls are to be sent. (e.g. *0093605551234)  To cancel call forwarding dial #00.

LAST NUMBER
This allows a telephone user to re-dial the last number called by dialing a code, *55.

SEND ALL CALLS
You can use this feature when you are away from your desk and you wish to have your call immediately routed to your coverage point. In most cases the coverage point is your voicemail. To activate the feature dial *05, to cancel, dial # 05.
