NOTE

Before following the instructions below, you will need to download the Everbridge app to your phone. For work mobile phones, you may need to access your agency’s Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution. If you are unable to find or access the Everbridge application, please contact your IT department.


NOTE:
We recommend disconnecting from Wi-Fi before logging in to minimize issues with single sign on.

  1. Once the Everbridge application is on your phone, open the application.



  2. Click the “Find an organization or subscription” button



  1. Click “Organization, Keyword or Zipcode” and enter “98504” in the search box, then click on the organization “WA Agency Alerts





  2. Select "Single Sign-On"


  3. Select the option that pertains to you: Active Directory, your agency if it is listed, or Secure Access Washington (WSP and OSPI only).




    • NOTE: Please DO NOT select “Don’t use SSO”



  1. Enter your SSO account credentials
    • NOTE: You may be asked to sign in with your work email address or in for format of “domain\user”. Please be aware that your username and password are case sensitive and follow your on-screen instructions for entering your credentials

    • NOTE: Please DO NOT select “Don’t use SSO”

  1. Click the “Sign in” button

  2. Confirm that “Allow Push Notifications” is active/on, then click “Manage My Profile

 

  1. Enter or edit your contact methods. Then, scroll down and select "Save"

    • NOTE: You will not be able to edit the Work Email, as this field is updated automatically. If your email is incorrect, contact your agency IT helpdesk to update the information in Active Directory.

    • NOTE: We strongly recommend you add your personal mobile and/or work mobile phone numbers to your profile to ensure effective and timely receipt of campus alerts. While your profile includes work email this method of contact will not result in timely communication due to limitations in agency campus email systems.

 

  1. Press the up or down arrows  to indicate the order in which you would like to receive notifications, by contact method.

    • While the preferred order of notifications received from WaAgencyAlerts is at your discretion, we strongly recommend the priority order provided below as these are the most effective and timely means of receiving notification.

      1. Everbridge App (Fastest - almost immediate)
      2. Work Cell Text
      3. Personal Cell Text
      4. Work Cell Call
      5. Personal Cell call
      6. Personal Email (Slowest - several hours)

    • Please note that in some circumstances, you may receive WaAgencyAlerts messages in priority as deemed necessary by entity initiating the alert.



  1. Click the “Save” button.
